Job Description: Exciting opportunity available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice on the North Cornwall / North Devon border, one of the most beautiful parts of the UK with stunning beaches, moors and countryside for you to explore.
The practice has four dedicated small animal sites with this role split between its Camelford and Stratton branches on a full-time rota of day, weekends and night shifts.
All four branches are RCVS General Practice Standard and approved training practices. Their Stratton surgery has also been award RWAF Gold Standard. They have a varied first opinion caseload, with certificate holders in Ophthalmology, Exotics, Small Animal Medicine, Acupuncture, Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
You will be joining a great team of vets, RVN's, ANA's and receptionists who all work together to provide their clients with the best veterinary experience possible. You can expect a warm welcome from the team with great support, lots of banter to laugh at together and encouragement to work to your best. there will be opportunities for undertaking schedule 3 tasks and enhancing your nursing job satisfaction. The practice has a varied first opinion caseload to keep you on your toes, with certificate holders in ophthalmology, exotics, small animal medicine, acupuncture, anaesthesia and analgesia.
In return they are asking for someone who is self-motivated, who will share their skills and knowledge, whilst also being capable of putting a buster collar together in under 10 seconds. A keen desire to bake in your spare time would be preferable but not essential!
The package on offer includes:
Salary range pro rata depending on experience £25,410 – £28,140 pa (average 39 hours per week which includes weekends and nights. ** Includes night shifts paid at time and half **)
Part time hours including a share of OOH will be considered.
