Out client is currently looking for a full or part time Veterinary Surgeon to join their successful small animal surgery in a busy residential area 3 miles from the cultural & vibrant Leeds City Centre with excellent train and motorway links to glorious Midland and Yorkshire countryside.
The bright, very spacious surgery is purpose built with excellent facilities including lab, 2 operating theatres, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. The dynamic clinical team already consists of a 1 full time Vet, 3 nurses a practice manager and a supportive team of non-clinical colleagues, all of whom are passionate about providing the very best care for their clients and patients and being at the heart of the local community.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to help build and shape our surgery with the support and guidance of an experienced industry network. You should have small animal experience gained as a general practitioner, and great people skills. You will be comfortable with sole charge but will also relish being part of a team. An interest in surgery is particularly welcomed as is an interest in orthopaedics but the latter is not absolutely necessary.
Our client can build a full or part time work pattern to suit your commitments outside of work, whether that’s to accommodate school hours, carer responsibilities or your well-being, they can be as flexible as you need during the week. Weekends are on a rota basis with limited cover to keep it fair for everyone, and there’s no OOHs. They pride ourselves on team wellbeing and therefore make sure to have protected breaks throughout the shifts.
The package of offer includes:
A salary up to £60,000
