Job Description: Due to their fabulous senior vet leaving to explore the world an opening has arisen for a veterinary surgeon to step into a senior position at a practice in Putney, with amazing clients who are incredibly bonded to the team and who are largely insured..
This practice's location has a true London "village" feel, just a short walk from the River Thames, Putney High Street and Putney Station. It is situated at the end of a beautiful Victorian high street with a true café culture atmosphere.
The rota for this position is Monday to Wednesday, overlapping on Wednesdays with their amazing vet who has all the enthusiasm you could wish for in a support colleague, in addition to the incredible nursing support team who make the practice what it is!
Your rota will be inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:10 hospital Sunday plus 1 bank holiday per year. As part of a group you will be fully supported by a dedicated regional manager and a 24-hour hospital where you can refer more complex cases and any patients needing out of hours care. You will also have additional clinical support from the groups regional head vet who has a wealth of clinical and management knowledge to pass on.
The salary band for this 3-day week position inclusive of weekend rotation is £48,195 to £63,495 (£63,000 to £83,000 FTE) depending on prior experience, and development within the role. Our client would be more than happy to explore an additional day in the region if you were looking for a 4 day week.
