Job Description: An opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Vet to join the team of 3 OOH's Vets at a dedicated Emergency Clinic providing emergency and Out of Hours services for veterinary practices in the Somerset Region.
The clinic is based in an RCVS accredited hospital based in the beautiful area of Somerset, close to the coast and the rolling Quantock hills. They see a good variety of small animal cases including exotics and wildlife and want their colleagues to pursue their interest and so certificates and CPD are encouraged and funded. The team have routine socials, a great support network and most of all a sense of humour.
You must be able to work in sole charge and confident with emergency procedures and surgeries. You will work with a night nurse; the phones will be managed until 11pm by a dedicated phone service (answered by vets remotely) to give you dedicated time for inpatient care and consults as needed.
A part time or full-time position is available on a flexible rota.
