Job Description: We are currently recruiting for a well organised, popular first opinion small animal practice who are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join their caring and supportive team of 5 vets, RVN's and excellent receptionists. .
Here work-life balance is really valued, and this is displayed in numerous ways with lunch break guaranteed and time specifically put in the diary for catching up, calls and emergencies. They are happy to meet vets that require flexibility, be this a full 4 days, 2 - 3 days per week, a consulting role, short days, part time while completing a certificate etc. Ideally cover will be needed on Thursdays and Fridays however the rota is flexible enough to accommodate different shift patterns and a number of options are available. Alternatives include a Tuesday 10am to 4pm, or 2 full days with a shorter Tuesday, plus a Friday day off swap or possible alternating every other Friday as a day off. There is a 1 in 4 Saturday rota, 9am - 12 noon sole charge with 2 RVN's and 2 receptionists in the practice. No OOH's.

The town is in close proximity to both Manchester and Liverpool, under an hour from the Peak District, one hour from Leeds, under 2 hours from the Lake District and Snowdonia National Park in Wales.
