Job Description: A fantastic opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy small animal practice in Huddersfield, located close to the city centre, train station and M62.
Huddersfield itself is surrounded by countryside and within easy travelling distance of three of the UKs beautiful national parks. Being nestled between Manchester and Leeds means there are also excellent transport links whether you wish to fly or take the train. The newly refurbished practice is close to local amenities including a nursery.
You will be joining a lovely, growing team at a modern 3 consult room practice with digital x ray and ultra sound. Situated in the heart of the community with a varied caseload there is excellent potential for practice growth and to develop your own area of clinical interest. Perhaps you would like to complete a certificate, or you are interested in partnership? Whatever it is they can support you with this.
Whether you are an experienced vet or one who is just starting their veterinary career, they would love to hear from you as they have the capacity to support a vet of any experience level.
You will need to feel comfortable with sole charge and your days will include a mixture of consults and surgery. There is no OOH requirement. The wonderful team consists of 1 Vet, 2 RVNs, 2 customer care assistants and they train student nurses as well. Our client is offering part time hours working 20 hours per week and are currently open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. These opening hours are reduced from normal, something they did to help their team and once they are ready, they will look at extending them again.
