Job Description: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a proudly independent practice in West Sussex.
With 4 branch clinics and two state of the art hospitals you will be involved in first opinion and referral care, including medical and surgical cases, advances diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation giving you the perfect opportunity to grow and master your areas of special interest.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS) with a valid driving licence. You'll have an interest and previous experience in surgical procedures and ideally sole charge . leadership.
This is a full time role, based primarily at one of the branch clinics, although shifts at the hospitals may be available to incorporate into rota patterns and to expand case exposure if required. You will be working a 4 day week, 10 hour working shifts (various times between 7.30am - 8.00pm) totally 40 hours. 1 hour lunch break
Equal rota for daytime in-patient care and help with emergencies over weekends and bank holidays. 2 days off in lieu of any weekends worked. No out-of-hours, except to act as “last resort” backup to dedicated emergency team on a rota. This is very rarely used.
