Job Description: We are currently recruiting on behalf of a practice in Bedford who are looking to increase their team with the addition of 2 full time and 1 part time veterinary surgeons.
This bright, spacious and air-conditioned surgery is purpose built and comes equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, haematology, biochemistry, dentistry and isolation facilities. The practice is RCVS accredited as well as being a silver cat friendly clinic and rabbit friendly clinic.
This close knit, friendly and supportive team currently consists of 1 full time vet, 5 experienced RVN's, 1 SVN, 2 VCA's a practice manager and great front of house team. Keen on sustainability low flow anaesthesia is used along with segregated recycling and fur clipping recycling (making mats to soak up oil spills).
The team here see a wide variety of cat, dog, rabbit and exotic medical and surgical cases and offer 15-minute consults as standard. They also benefit from a visiting ophthalmologist and a peripatetic surgeon for orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue surgeries.
There are three position available, two full time and one part time, all three roles will include a 1 in 4 weekend rota.
