Job Description: An opportunity has arisen for a new vet to join the team at a Wellbeing Award winning farm practice based in Chelmsford and covering Essex and South Suffolk.
Chelmsford provides easy access to London, beautiful countryside and is close to the coast. The area offers great pub walks, cycling, water sports and our vets are part of local sports teams, gyms, and theatre groups. You can live rurally or in the centre of town. Essex is an often-overlooked gem of a place to live.
The brilliant team comprises of 2 Administrators an ATT/Vet Tech and 9 Vets sharing the OOH rota in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere, where they have worked hard to make their practice welcoming, inclusive and a fulfilling place to work.
Our client is looking for a team spirited and driven MRCVS to help their clients meet realistic health, welfare, and productivity goals. They successfully train EMS and rotation students so willingness to teach is ideal. Farm experience is desirable, but farming background is not necessary- just an enthusiasm for clinical work and good communication skills. Application are welcome from all backgrounds.
Included in the package on offer:
4.5-day week, equal OOH share. 28 days holiday plus BHs. Buy/sell holiday. Enhanced Maternity/Paternity scheme. Company car for personal use, laptop, and phone. Negotiable salary range of 34-46k depending on experience. The practice funds further education and can offer flexible working, clinical support for all experience levels, at least 5 days CPD and an allowance of £1750 for CPD as standard. They are also Tier 2 visa providers.
