Job Description: Due to expansions an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join a group of excellent first opinion clinics in the South Leicestershire area.
This thriving area of the East Midlands has great motorway and rail links to Birmingham, London and Leicester city centres for shopping and night life. The overall area being semi-rural and great for families with good schools and plenty of activities as well as the ability to escape off the beaten track and enjoy scenic walks through the local villages.
You will be working with a hugely experienced team offering a wealth of experience. Visiting Veterinarians to assist with both case management and team development. A nursing team that are focused on animal care and providing the complete service to both colleagues and clients. A reception team that works hard on providing the best client journey. The leadership team are passionate about employee welfare and strive to create a supportive and enjoyable place to work.
They are equipped with all the usual toys, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, ultrasound including cardiology package, endoscopy, in-house biochemistry, haematology, and cytology.
The ideal candidate would be a proactive senior small animal Vet, an enthusiastic team player, who is keen to get their teeth into the challenge of an expanding business. The role will involve general clinical work, colleague training, welfare, and development, assisting the clinical director in developing and marketing of the new clinic, as well as the day to day running of each branch. Certificate holders or willingness to work towards a certificate is an advantage but not essential.
For the right candidate, they are happy to offer flexibility of working hours to accommodate individual circumstances, this position could be filled by a number of part time personnel or a full-time role (40 hour working week).
