Job Description: An exiting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join the friendly small animal team at a 24 hour small animal hospital in Brighton.
You will be working as part of the day team, and joining the weekly rotation of ward, surgical, and consulting shifts that are shared amongst the hospital team. The caseload will be varied, with both emergency and advanced medical cases referred to the hospital from their 5 branch practices and local practices that they support.
This purpose-built hospital has a range of high-technical equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, laparoscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopy, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. They have dedicated cat, dog, exotic, isolation, and day procedure wards, with a fantastic nursing and support team to work alongside.
The team has multiple certificate holders and colleagues with a huge range of clinical interests and expertise, including referral services for orthopaedics, ophthalmology, advanced imaging, and exotics. They run an OOH team alongside our day team at the hospital. The practice is committed to continuing the further development of their team members, with ample opportunity for learning and development through dedicated in-house and external CPD.
They are looking for an experienced, approachable, team player to join our over 20 strong Veterinary team. The successful candidate will join a 4-day week rota, with a 1:5 weekend, with time off in lieu.
