Job Description: Fantastic opportunity available for an experienced and approachable Senior Vet with a strong medicine bias to join the over 20 strong veterinary team at a large 24 hour hospital in West Sussex.

The hospital supports 6 local branch practices and the out of hors of other local practice. It has a high range of technical equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, laparoscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopes and a fully equipped in-house laboratory.

The team includes multiple certificate holders and colleagues with a huge range of clinical interests and expertise, with referral services for orthopaedics, imaging and exotics and are now looking to grow their dedicated medicine team with the addition of this role which will include assessment and treatment of our hospitalised patients, taking a lead role in their care and supporting other members of the medical team. The ideal candidate would have, or be working towards, an Emergency Critical Care or internal medicine certificate. It will be expected that you enrol for a certificate after probation if not already started. Fully supported.

In this role you will be working 36.5 hours over 3 days giving plenty of time to explore this great City by the sea. There are no OOH's as this is covered by the practices own dedicated night team.

Salary range £48,000-£55,000 (£50-65k FTE) depending on qualification and experience including mentoring experience. Certificates supported.
