- Job Description: We are looking to recruit an experienced colleague to work alongside the team at this small animal Hospital. This is an ideal opportunity for a vet with an Emergency Medicine bias looking for an interesting caseload, within a supportive environment. The position will include responsibility for in patient care and emergency cases. This role would suit a candidate who either holds or is interested in working towards, an Emergency Cert. The practice is currently in the planning stages of moving to a new premises which will be able to offer a range of desirable improvements, including an onsite CT and a designated Feline treatment and hospitalisation area.
They currently benefit from an excellent range of diagnostics including Idexx Procyte, Cat1 and Coag lab machines, a digital microscope, Hi spec ultrasound, Full endoscopy, Digital xray and visiting CT and MRI.
There is in house support for all surgical cases from the CD, plus Derm and Exotics support from two of Senior Vets and an in house physio service provided by one of their RVN’s. The Night support team consists of an experienced, designated RVN plus a student/trainee nurse.
Flexible working is available and they are happy to discuss working patterns. Staff wellbeing is a priority, the staff room comes equipped with a Tassimo machine or relaxing herbal teas if this is your preference, plus an electronic back massager for those days when you need a shoulder rub!
